Cannons Registration

Congratulations! You have been selected to play in the Sunbelt League for the Cartersville Cannons! The Sunbelt League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is one of only twelve summer leagues in the country partially funded by Major League Baseball. Since the league began in 2005, the Sunbelt League has had over 100 players get drafted by Major League Baseball clubs.

To secure your spot in the league, you must complete BOTH the following registrations before you are eligible. Also, please note that the Sunbelt League is a USA Baseball Safe Sport compliant organization. You will be required to take an educational course on Abuse Awareness and must complete a background check before you are deemed eligible to play in this league.

1) National Alliance of College Summer Baseball Contract

This contract is what enters you in the national database and on our online rosters. Before you can be activated, you must have approval from a coach at your school which is handled automatically through this form.

2) Sunbelt League Player Registration and Payment

SBL Registration: 2025 SUNBELT PLAYER REGISTRATION

This form will collect pertinent information for our database, including contact info and insurance information. This is also where you will pay your player fee. If you don’t have a SportsEngine account, you will need to create one.

Player Fee: There is a player fee of $1,200 to play for the Cartersville Cannons which includes the Trackman Package

This payment is due before you are eligible to play in the league.

3) TrackMan Data

The summer of 2025 is set to be the forth full season the Sunbelt Baseball League players are going to have access to TrackMan league wide. We were able to capture over 3 million data points on our players in the 2024 season, allowing us to provide more for our players than ever before. Trackman will be available at every facility for the 2025 season.

To bring this first-class technology to our summer league. Data will are offered out to all SBL players and each will be given a Trackman account to receive their data. Some of the stats include, but are not limited to:

Hitters: Exit velocity, contact point, launch angle, and distance

Pitchers: Spin rate, velocity, spin axis, release height/side, vertical break, horizontal break, and much more.

BOTH REGISTRATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOU ARE DEEMED ELIGIBLE AND ACTIVE

REFUND POLICY: Full refunds will not be given for players who leave early for any reason other

than an injury substantiated by a team trainer or doctor. Should your circumstance

change and you are not able to participate in the league before the season begins,

there will be a 10% administration fee deducted from any fees paid before a refund is

granted. If you suffer an injury during the summer, a partial refund is possible

(pro-rated factoring a flat administration expense of 10% and how many games you were

with team).
